Zionsville should grow the right way and I’m concerned that there is a potential for growth without enough forethought. Let’s make sure the core of Zionsville is strengthened and move out from there.

 

My district includes Main Street and the Village.  There’s a reason that we live and work here and I want to preserve that for all of District 5 and for the future of Zionsville. I'd like to also focus on attracting tenants to vacant buildings. 

 

I'm passionate about fitness and feel strongly that there should be pathways connecting neighborhoods, shops and schools to encourage walking and biking in the community.  Let's be proactive about these projects in Zionsville.

 

As a winner of the Indiana CPA Society’s Five Under 35 Award, I'm one of seven people in the nation with all of the following recognized business appraisal credentials: Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV).  

 

I feel that there is a need on Zionsville's Town Council for someone who understands finance and is excited to dive into the budget and find ways to save money.  I don't have big political aspirations - I simply want what is best for Zionsville and believe that my work history provides what the town needs.

 

And on a personal note, my wife of 20 years, Melissa, and I live with our two children who attend Zionsville schools.  We've been residents of the town for 12 years.
